Nara Pre-School – ‘Grand Opening’

Nara Pre-School has been undergoing a large extension and transformation this year, and we are very excited that the works are finished and that we now have a wonderful new facility for our staff and children to enjoy.

Every year, during Education Week, Nara Pre-School holds an Open day for prospective families to come and visit us. This year we are planning to incorporate a ‘Grand Opening’ of the newly renovated facility as part of our Open day.

It is with great pleasure that the Nara Committee of Management invite you to join us at the ‘Grand Opening’ of the new Nara Pre-School. This is a very exciting time for Nara, as the past and present Committees have worked tirelessly for the past 10 years to get us to this point.

Nara Pre-School – ‘Grand Opening’ - Saturday 26th May 2012 at 2 Stanley Avenue Mt Waverley 10am-1pm. 3 & 4 year old sessions offered. Come along and see our newly renovated facilities. View the new timetable for 2013. There will be plenty to do for the kids with face painting, balloons, animal farm, jumping castle and a sausage sizzle.

We have progressed into term 2 with a new building at Nara…..Our Open day is scheduled for 26th May 2012. We will be having many fun activities like face painting, bouncing castles and an animal farm…..Come and visit us!

We are at the end of term 1. It has been a very busy term for us at Nara with the reconstruction work.

Working Bee

There will be a Working Bee on Sunday 15^th April commencing at 10am.
More details comming up soon…….

Open Day

Nara Open Day has been scheduled for Saturday 26^th May 2012. We are booking entertainment for the children for the day. This is a special chance for all of the Nara families to come and visit our newly renovated premises. More information to follow.

STOP PRESS – NEW NARA IS COMING

It is with great pleasure that we formally announce that Nara Preschool is being extended and renovated thanks to funding from Monash Council. Proposed plans are being finalised at present with works scheduled to commence in December 2011. Completion is expected by mid 2012. Nara will continue to operate as normal with a few minor changes required to the entry and exit points to allow works to progress. The Committee are very excited by this news as we have been working very hard for a number of years to get agreement from Council to invest funds in updating the building. The extension will include a larger playroom, new entry foyer, improved office and storage facilities along with renovated bathroom facilities. This extension will bring the building up to modern day standards and provide new and improved facilities for the children and teachers alike.

Term 3 is nearing completion with only two weeks remaining. Fees for Term 4 are due now with payment expected by Friday 23rd September 2011
