Nara Prides itself with excellent, dedicated teachers and staff, and has an active management committee, making for a high quality, well run pres-school for 4 year olds, 3 year olds and parents alike.
Nara is also a member of the BestChance! network (formerly Child and Family Care Network), which provides among other things, a professional employment and training framework for our teachers. BestChance! has over 100 years experience of caring for the special needs of children and families. This support provides a trouble-free environment in which children can grow and thrive, surrounded by happy staff and backed by an experience professional family care organisation.
Our vision at Nara is to provide the best possible start for our pre-school children and prepare them well for the years to come at primary school.
Our philosophy is that children develop social and communication skills,self confidence and a feeling of self worth that prepare them for the years to come.
Nara operates both 4 year old and 3 year old programmes, and we endeavour to offer as many places as practical, balancing the viability of the pre-school with demand and preferred session times and schedules. Depending of the number of children of different ages in the community and the prevailing birth rate, this may change from year to year.
