STOP PRESS – NEW NARA IS COMING
It is with great pleasure that we formally announce that Nara Preschool is being extended and renovated thanks to funding from Monash Council. Proposed plans are being finalised at present with works scheduled to commence in December 2011. Completion is expected by mid 2012. Nara will continue to operate as normal with a few minor changes required to the entry and exit points to allow works to progress. The Committee are very excited by this news as we have been working very hard for a number of years to get agreement from Council to invest funds in updating the building. The extension will include a larger playroom, new entry foyer, improved office and storage facilities along with renovated bathroom facilities. This extension will bring the building up to modern day standards and provide new and improved facilities for the children and teachers alike.
